Senior Finance Manager (Johor)

🔍 About the Company

My client is a prestigious property developer. They have strong growth momentum in real estate development and commercial assets.

Role Overview

As Senior Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the company's expansion and financial integrity. You will:

Lead month-end, quarter-end, and annual closing processes
Prepare consolidated financial statements, management reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flows)
Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling aligned to strategic goals
Manage cash flow forecasting, treasury operations, and funding
Ensure compliance with MFRS / IFRS and Malaysian statutory obligations
Coordinate with auditors and regulatory authorities during audits
Enhance financial processes and internal controls
Mentor and supervise a small finance reporting team

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
Professional certification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, MICPA, ICAEW) preferred
Minimum of 8 years of progressive finance experience, including 3+ years in a supervisory or management role
Previous exposure to real estate, property development, or related infrastructure projects is preferred
Strong technical accounting understanding, with experience in consolidation, variance analysis, asset accounting, tax, and audit
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Proficient in ERP systems and MS Excel
