key responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure backend services using Java Spring Boot
Develop and integrate Kafka-based messaging systems for real-time data processing
Implement Redis for caching and performance optimization
Deploy, manage, and monitor applications on cloud platforms
Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
Participate in system architecture discussions and design reviews
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices
Troubleshoot production issues and ensure application reliability and uptime
Mentor junior engineers and participate in code reviews

requirements:

5+ years of backend development experience using Java
Strong expertise with Spring Boot, including dependency injection, RESTful APIs, and JPA/Hibernate
Solid hands-on experience with Kafka (producers, consumers, stream processing)
Proficiency in implementing Redis for caching and data storage
Experience deploying and managing applications on cloud
Strong understanding of system design, microservices architecture, and cloud-native development
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile methodologies
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and collaboration abilities

nice to haves:

Experience working on payment systems, digital wallets, or financial transaction platforms
Knowledge of security standards and compliance in financial applications
Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools such as ELK, Prometheus, Grafana
Exposure to containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
