Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of backend engineers in developing scalable applications primarily using Java Springboot along with other programming languages (e.g., Python, Kotlin, Go, React Native, NodeJS etc.).
Own and drive the technical roadmap, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and business goals.
Provide strong technical guidance, perform code reviews, and contribute to development as needed.
Collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to define and align on project requirements and timelines.
Foster a high-performance, engineering-first culture with an emphasis on quality, speed, and continuous improvement.
Identify technical risks and propose effective mitigation strategies.
Continuously improve engineering processes, tools, and systems to enhance team productivity and product quality.

Requirements:

Minimum 8 years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership or managerial role.
Strong proficiency in Java Springboot Microservices and experience with one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Kotlin, Scala, Go, React Native, NodeJS, JavaScript).
Solid understanding of software architecture, system design, and scalable backend services.
Proven experience leading and growing high-performing technical teams.
Hands-on experience with agile development practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Experience working in a microservices architecture
Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Exposure to DevOps practices and tools.
