...- Provide technical direction and oversee the operations and performance of the bridges and structures team.
- Take charge of daily technical decisions and offer coaching and support to team members.
- Deliver expert technical input and innovative solutions for projects, such as value engineering, alternative designs, materials selection, and construction methods.
- Review and validate the work produced by the team to ensure quality and compliance.
- Conduct presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead or support project bidding efforts.
- Work closely with other disciplines on multi-disciplinary projects to ensure seamless coordination.
- Carry out structural analysis and design for complex concrete and steel bridges, including preparation of specifications and cost estimates as needed.
- Undertake additional technical and operational responsibilities as required by the business.
skills & experience required
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural Engineering
- 15+ years of experience in bridge and structural engineering.
- Candidates with Professional Engineer with Practicing Certificate (PEPC)will have an advantage
- Proven leadership and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proven experience in bridge and structural design, with a history of collaborating in international, multi-cultural teams.
