Many employees may have planned their careers perfectly, but it is very likely that they would seek specialists’ professional career advice intermittently.

According to the latest Randstad WorkMonitor, nearly half of employees around the world (46%) say that they need professional career advice from a specialist. This sentiment spiked in Singapore, Hong Kong SAR and Malaysia, as seven in 10 employees (71%) reach out to specialists for career advice.

Ryan Carroll, Country Manager for Randstad Malaysia said, “Employees understand the need for continuous learning to remain competitive in the workforce and for personal growth. It is no surprise that employees reach out to human resource specialists for industry insights and expert advice as they anticipate their next career move.”
