This is a pivotal Executive level position that extends far beyond routine bookkeeping, encompassing group consolidation, cross-border tax compliance, payroll, and critical risk management functions
about the job
... Group Accounting & Reporting: Manage the full set of accounts and monthly closing for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy of intercompany transactions and preparing group consolidation reports. Ensure timely closing in line with FRS/IFRS standards.
International Tax & Compliance: Manage corporate tax, GST/VAT, and withholding tax filing across regions. Coordinate with consultants on cross-border matters (e.g., Dubai CT, Malaysia CP204) and monitor transfer pricing policies and documentation.
Treasury & Risk Management: Monitor group cash flow, manage intercompany loans and bank facilities. Critically, you will manage Euler Hermes Trade Credit Insurance, including credit limit applications, overdue monitoring, and claim follow-up to minimize credit risk exposure
Payroll & HR Support: Oversee monthly payroll and ensure accurate and timely statutory submissions for Singapore and Malaysia teams (CPF, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and PCB).
Management Support: Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports. Assist in budgeting and forecasting by providing data and variance explanations. Act as the primary liaison for auditors, tax agents, and banks.
Key Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in full set accounting and group reporting.
Global Exposure: Mandatory exposure to multi-entity and multi-currency environments, preferably with regional operations (e.g., Singapore, Malaysia, Dubai, Taiwan).
Technical Skills: Hands-on experience in audit coordination, tax compliance, and transfer pricing monitoring. Experience in treasury management, trade credit insurance (Euler Hermes), and intercompany loan tracking is required.
Qualification: Minimum Diploma.
