We are looking for a highly capable and hands-on Accountant / Finance Manager to play a critical leadership role in managing the full financial operations. Key Responsibilities
Financial Operations & Reporting
Full Spectrum Oversight: Supervise and manage the daily routine operations of the Accounts Executives, ensuring orderly and prompt bookkeeping across Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL) functions.
Month-End & Management Reporting: Lead and execute the monthly closing process. Support the Head of Finance in the timely preparation of accurate management and accounting reports and analysis for regional and global submission.
Budgeting Support: Assist the superior in the annual budget and quarterly forecast review and preparation processes.
Compliance, Control & Project Management
Internal Controls: Ensure strict adherence to company policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to meet internal audit requirements. Work closely with the Compliance team to manage and strengthen the internal control system.
Statutory Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for external customers, including auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries, providing necessary support and documentation.
Global Projects: Manage and support financial projects rolled out by global or regional headquarters, ensuring smooth implementation and compliance.
Leadership & Stakeholder Collaboration
Team Leadership & Coaching: Be a hands-on leader who can effectively coach, support, and mentor the Accounts Executive team, fostering their capabilities and ensuring the team meets tight deadlines.
Requirements
Qualified Accountant with a relevant degree and professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) is preffered.
8 years of total finance and accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a team management or supervisory capacity is ideal.
Demonstrated experience in daily finance operations, including AR, AP, Month-End Closing, Reporting, and Treasury.
Strong practical experience with a reputable ERP system, preferably SAP.
A preferred background that combines Audit exposure with strong commercial finance operational experience (focused on efficient and timely month-end closing).
A natural team player with the proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and challenging environment while consistently meeting tight reporting deadlines.
