The ideal candidate will be a proactive finance leader responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of the Procure-to-Pay (PTP) and Order-to-Cash (OTC) functions within a shared service center environment. This role requires a strong understanding of PTP processes, the ability to drive process improvements, and experience in developing and mentoring a team. The candidate will work with senior management to contribute to financial strategies, analyze financial data, provide insightful business partnering, and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Leadership & Oversight:
- Oversee the daily operations of the PTP and OTC teams within the SSC to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services according to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Provide strong leadership, clear direction, and mentorship to the PTP and OTC teams, aligning team activities with the Finance Department's strategies.
- Monitor team performance to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, with a particular focus on PTP controls and best practices.
- Recruit, train, and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Process Management & Improvement:
- Drive the optimization and standardization of PTP and OTC processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls.
- Translate business needs into system tools and automation to improve process efficiency and effectiveness, with a focus on PTP automation.
- Identify and implement best practices in PTP processes to minimize risks and maximize cost savings.
- Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration:
- Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including internal departments, external vendors, and auditors, to ensure smooth operations and resolve issues.
- Act as a key point of contact for PTP and OTC related matters.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Contribute to the development of financial strategies for the organization.
- Analyze financial data related to PTP and OTC operations, providing insights and recommendations to management
- Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial reports related to PTP and OTC.
it'll be good if you are
- experience in Shared Service environment
- local Malaysia resident (must)
- managerial experience of at least 2 - 3 years.
- Degree in Accounting and Finance or any equivalent professional certification
- good knowledge in end-to-end processes for OTC and PTP
