Assistant Finance Manager
About the Company
You will be working for a growing property development company in Malaysia. Their focus is on operational excellence and sustainable business growth. They are currently looking for an Assistant Finance Manager to lead the finance function, strengthen financial controls, and support management with sound financial insights.
Key Responsibilities
... Oversee finance and accounting functions including AR, AP, GL, fixed assets, and cash flow management
Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and relevant authorities on audit, tax, and financial matters
Manage cash flow, banking facilities, and treasury functions
Review and improve internal controls, policies, and financial processes
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent) is an added advantage
Minimum 4-5 years of relevant working experience
Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and financial reporting
Hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
Good leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
