With an exciting product pipeline and a bold growth roadmap, they are now looking for an Assistant NPD Manager to support new product initiatives across marketing, operations, and commercial functions.
About the Role
This is a high-impact, strategic role that supports the development and execution of new product launches and key commercial initiatives. As Assistant NPD Manager, you’ll work cross-functionally to drive innovation, streamline processes, and help the company scale. You’ll support efforts in launching new products, enhancing operational efficiencies, and executing retail or category-expansion projects that align with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support end-to-end NPD projects including concept development, packaging, pricing, and product launch planning
Collaborate with Product Development, R&D, and Marketing to translate consumer insights into innovative products
Coordinate new retail store rollouts, including layout, design, and operational setup
Identify and implement cost-saving measures across the value chain (manufacturing, procurement, logistics)
Support potential M&A or partnership evaluation with basic due diligence and project coordination
Conduct category and trend analysis to identify product gaps and strategic opportunities
Collaborate closely with Sales and Commercial team to develop effective go-to-market strategies
Monitor and evaluate NPD project timelines, cost targets, and execution milestones
Ensure food safety compliance and product quality standards are met throughout the development process
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
Minimum 5–8 years of experience in NPD, product marketing, or commercial project roles, preferably within FMCG
Strong coordination and project management experience across multiple functions
Solid commercial and financial acumen, with a hands-on approach to execution
Comfortable with ambiguity and fast-paced environments
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Familiarity with basic supply chain, manufacturing, or retail operations is a plus
