about the job
- Drive occupancy through targeted tenant sourcing and optimized tenant mix strategies for commercial and retail assets.
- Monitor market trends and competitor pricing to identify opportunities for improving rental returns and property positioning.
- Act as the primary point of contact for prospective and existing tenants to ensure high retention and a positive tenant experience.
- Oversee the end-to-end lease process, including legal documentation, rental collections/arrears, and coordinating with facilities teams for unit handovers.
- Collaborate with internal marketing and finance teams to provide accurate data on occupancy, revenue performance, and property promotion.
skills and experience required
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in leasing
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian tenancy laws, market trends, business development, and transaction processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
- Highly motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in MS Office; experience with Property Management Systems (PMS) or ERP software (e.g., IFCA) is an advantage.
