About the Role
The Assistant Brand Manager will play a key role in supporting the end-to-end brand management of the chocolate and confectionery category. You will be involved in developing marketing plans, launching new products, and executing brand campaigns across multiple consumer touchpoints. This is a hands-on, executional role reporting to the Brand Manager, with opportunities to take ownership of projects and work closely with sales, trade marketing, and agency partners.
Key Responsibilities
Support the development and execution of annual brand plans and marketing calendars for chocolate and confectionery products.
Assist in the rollout of consumer promotions, digital campaigns, sampling activities, and in-store visibility plans.
Coordinate new product launches and relaunches in collaboration with R&D, supply chain, and trade marketing.
Monitor market trends, category performance, and competitor activities to generate insights and recommendations.
Work with creative and media agencies to develop and localize marketing materials across print, digital, and POS channels.
Track and report on campaign performance, marketing spend, and ROI against KPIs.
Collaborate with the sales and trade team to drive merchandising effectiveness and product visibility at store level.
Prepare presentation decks and reports for internal reviews and cross-functional alignment.
Requirements
Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline.
2–4 years of marketing experience, ideally in FMCG food or confectionery categories.
Solid understanding of brand and trade marketing fundamentals.
Strong project coordination, time management, and communication skills.
Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and a passion for brand building.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel); familiarity with Nielsen data is a p
