about the job
As the Centre Director, you will report to the Director of Operations and hold full accountability for the facility’s success. Your core responsibilities include:
Operational Leadership: Managing daily operations, including fiscal management, budgeting, and ensuring all facility funds and property are secured.
Academic Quality & Student Services: Overseeing curriculum quality and coordinating comprehensive student services, from counseling to activities and reports.
Growth & Business Development: Developing annual business plans and executing sales presentations to corporate clients to ensure the centre operates at full capacity.
Team Management: Supervising the hiring, training, and performance evaluation of all staff while maintaining a collaborative and pleasant work environment.
Stakeholder Relations: Maintaining strong relationships with government agencies, landlords, and partner institutions (e.g., university campus liaisons).
skills and requirements
Education: A Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) is required. Preferences are given to candidates with coursework in Business Management, Cross-cultural Awareness, Counseling, or EFL/ESL.
Management Experience: At least 3 years of experience managing an education centre (preferably EFL programme) with full supervisory responsibilities, including hiring and staff evaluation.
Cultural Competence: Significant cross-cultural or international experience is a strong advantage.
