The Role: Your Mandate
Reporting directly to the Group Managing Director and the Board of Directors, the Chief Financial Officer is a pivotal member of the Senior Management Team, responsible for the entire financial health, governance, and strategic growth of the Group and its subsidiaries.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and execute the Group’s financial strategy, objectives, and policies, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and driving long-term shareholder value.
Corporate Finance & Treasury: Oversee capital management, treasury operations, and debt structuring. Manage relationships with financial institutions, investors, and analysts. Optimize cash flow and capital allocation across all divisions (Maintenance, Construction, Property).
Financial Reporting & Control: Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting (MFRS/IFRS) to the Board, Bursa Malaysia, and other regulatory bodies. Strengthen internal controls and financial systems integrity.
Risk & Governance: Lead the financial risk management framework, including identifying and mitigating financial, operational, and regulatory risks (e.g., MACC Act compliance). Champion strong corporate governance practices.
Business Partnering: Provide strategic financial advisory to Divisional CEOs/Heads on new projects, tenders, mergers & acquisitions (M&A), and capital investment decisions to maximize project returns.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance, accounting, and treasury team. Drive digitalisation and efficiency improvements within the finance function.
