The Role: Your Impact
As the Chargeman BO, you will be the technical authority for the site’s electrical integrity, ensuring the safety and efficiency of high-voltage systems up to 11kV. You will lead the charge in maintaining a seamless operational flow between facility utilities and production lines.

... Technical Oversight: Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot high-voltage systems, including transformers, switchgears, and HV cables.
System Maintenance: Execute both preventive and corrective maintenance on building and facility electrical systems to guarantee peak performance.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure all electrical installations and maintenance work strictly adhere to the Energy Commission (ST) regulations, OSHA 1994, and Electrical Supply Regulations 1994.
Resource Management: Supervise the safe operation of generators and transformers while monitoring energy consumption to drive efficiency improvements.
Documentation: Maintain rigorous records of electrical testing, inspections, and maintenance reports to support internal and external safety audits.
Collaboration: Liaise with external vendors for upgrades and provide technical guidance or training to the internal maintenance team.
Qualifications & Requirements
Location: Candidates current location must be in Johor Bahru (JB).
Certification: Must possess a valid Certificate of Competency Chargeman BO (11kV) issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in high-voltage operations.
Technical Expertise: Strong command of high-voltage distribution systems, protection schemes, and the ability to interpret complex single-line diagrams and schematics.
Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving reasoning, paired with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
