This strategic leadership role is pivotal to the company's regional growth. As the Head of Commercial Marketing, you will define and execute business development strategies, secure high-value contracts, and drive revenue through deep market engagement. You will be the key driver of commercial excellence across Malaysia and Singapore operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement commercial strategies to meet revenue and margin goals
- Identify and capture new business opportunities within core and adjacent industries
- Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, contractors, and project stakeholders
- Lead contract negotiations for large-scale, project-based sales
- Align marketing efforts with commercial targets to boost market presence
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform strategic direction
- Oversee commercial activities and ensure alignment across regional teams
Skills & Experience Required
- 10+ years of experience in project-based or technical sales within engineering or industrial sectors
- Proven track record in securing high-value contracts and major projects
- Strong understanding of the full project sales cycle
- Background in steel structures, elevator/escalator fabrication, or architectural metalworks is an advantage
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
