We are currently looking for a COO for a leading player in the Industrial Machinery Manufacturing Industry for their expansion. This company has a legacy of more than 50 years in the Malaysia. This position requires your urgent attention.

the role
Provide leadership and direction over core operational functions including production, engineering, supply chain, and quality departments.
Manage direct reports across multiple departments: Operations (production and engineering), Supply Chain, Quality
Drive operational efficiency and productivity improvements across all plants, balancing automation initiatives with labor-intensive processes.
Ensure smooth coordination and integration of production lines, warehouse operations, and in-between processes for seamless flow.
Collaborate closely with senior leadership, reporting directly to the Managing Director (Alfred).
Lead organizational growth in headcount and operational capacity, scaling from 2,000 to 3,500 employees in line with business expansion plans.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and high operational standards across all facilities.
the experience
Extensive experience in metal stamping, EMS, contract manufacturing, or industrial machinery manufacturing environments.
Proven leadership in managing multi-plant operations with a significant workforce.
Experience working in both MNCs and local large-scale manufacturers preferred.
Strong understanding of operational workflows, including automation implementation and labor management balance.
Proficiency in Mandarin as this role requires to to serve a lot of Mandarin-speaking clients.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to manage cross-functional teams and report to executive leadership.
