About the Job
As the Dealer Manager for Retail Service Operations in JB, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and performance of a dealership unit. This includes strategic planning and operational execution across parts, service, administration, and sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic and operational planning across sales, service, parts, and admin
- Manage customer relationships and deliver strong CSI results
- Drive sales activities and support sales funnel execution to grow business
- Monitor dealership profitability and financial performance
- Oversee credit control, risk management, and cost efficiency
- Provide coaching, discipline, and performance reviews to direct reports
- Analyze KPIs and propose actionable improvements
- Control and optimize selling and administrative expenses
- Prepare and present business performance reports
- Lead sustainability and diversity efforts within the team
- Drive employee engagement and continuous improvement initiatives
Skills & Experience Required
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Dealer Manager or in a similar leadership role
- Proven technical and sales background in the commercial vehicle industry
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Skilled in negotiation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management
