about the job
As a Demand Planning Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring product availability while optimizing inventory levels. You will bridge the gap between sales, marketing, and supply chain operations. Your key responsibilities include:
Developing and maintaining high-quality demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons.
Leading the monthly S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process to align market intelligence with financial goals and supply capabilities.
Utilizing historical data and statistical modeling to provide strategic solutions for demand volatility.
Managing inventory health by identifying risks of obsolescence and recommending proactive clearance or promotion strategies.
Collaborating with Marketing and Sales teams to incorporate promotional plans and new product introductions into the forecast.
Monitoring and reporting on Forecast Accuracy (FA) and Bias, performing root cause analysis to drive continuous improvement

The successful candidate will report directly to the Supply Chain Director. You will lead a dedicated team of planners, fostering a culture of high efficiency and professional growth within a fast-paced, energetic environment
skills and experience required
Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Statistics, Business, or a related field.
At least 8 years of experience in demand planning or supply chain, specifically within the FMCG industry.
- Strong technical proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP/Demand Planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or APO).
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills to influence cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage tight timelines in a high-volume environment.
