The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Ownership & Reliability: Serve as the technical expert for auto molding (standard and mold release film) and moving cavity technology.
• Uptime & Maintenance: Drive equipment uptime to achieve OEE targets through the implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Root Cause Analysis: Lead technical investigations (RCA) using methodologies such as 8D, FMEA, Fishbone, and DMAIC.
• Optimization & Qualification: Fine-tune equipment parameters to boost quality, yield, and output, while supporting new mold and package qualifications.
• Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to reduce scrap and equipment-induced rejects, and oversee the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Technical Leadership: Collaborate with maintenance teams on mold repairs and modifications while mentoring junior engineers and technicians.
  
  
  What We’re Looking For

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or technical field.
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience specifically in mold equipment.
• Technical Skills: Expertise in auto molding; knowledge of conventional molding and maintenance is a significant plus.
• Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
