key responsibilities
Equipment Reliability and Maintenance: Ensure all manufacturing equipment is operational 24/7. Develop and execute a robust Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedule to prevent breakdowns. Troubleshoot complex breakdowns, coordinate vendor support, and minimize Mean Time To Repair (MTTR).
Team Leadership and Training: Lead, coach, and manage a team of equipment engineers and technicians. Provide training to line technicians on basic equipment troubleshooting and minor repair skills.
Performance Monitoring and Improvement: Monitor and analyze equipment performance data (uptime %, MTBF, defect correlation) to drive continuous improvement. Lead projects to upgrade tools, improve automation, and reduce downtime.
Operations and Compliance: Work closely with line managers to align equipment readiness with production schedules. Develop and maintain a spare parts inventory strategy to avoid unplanned downtime. Ensure compliance with safety, EHS, and ISO/IATF requirements in all equipment operations.
requirements
Education: A recognized Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Manufacturing Engineering is required.
Experience: More than 10 years of experience in equipment maintenance and engineering within a semiconductor, precision manufacturing, or high-volume production environment is essential. Proven experience with semiconductor equipment is preferred.
Technical Skills: Hands-on knowledge of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair is necessary. Proficiency in equipment reliability metrics (MTBF, MTTR, OEE) and data analysis is required.
Leadership & Soft Skills: Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, coach, and develop teams are a must. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills are required. You must also have the ability to work under pressure and manage 24/7 operations support.
