Randstad Malaysia is partnering exclusively with a well-established and rapidly growing engineering and project solutions provider with strong presence across industrial sectors including semiconductor, pharmaceuticals, and data centres.

As part of their expansion, they are looking to appoint a Finance Manager to lead the finance function and support strategic business growth.

about the role

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this role will take full ownership of the finance function, combining hands-on operational control with strategic financial leadership.

You will play a key role in strengthening financial processes, driving reporting excellence, and providing commercial insights to support project-based operations.

key responsibilities

• Lead the full spectrum of finance functions (GL, AP, AR, treasury, costing)
• Oversee monthly closing, management reporting, and financial statements
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian accounting standards, tax, and statutory requirements

skills & experience required

• Degree in Accounting/Finance with professional qualification (ACCA/CPA/MIA preferred)
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience, with leadership exposure
• Experience in engineering, construction, or project-based environment is highly advantageous
