We are seeking a strategic and experienced Finance Manager to join an established MNC within the Lifestyle Retail industry to lead their financial operations for the Malaysian market. This full-time position is based in Kuala Lumpur and reports directly to the client's CEO.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all financial budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, with a strong focus on retail performance metrics.
Oversee all finance and accounting functions, ensuring full compliance with tax and statutory audit requirements.
Evaluate capital needs and provide financial analysis for new retail store openings, projects, and inventory management.
Develop and implement financing strategies to support long-term projects and optimize overall financing costs.
Implement comprehensive risk management strategies to safeguard financial assets and conduct regular risk assessments.
Monitor and manage cash flow at the group, company, and project levels.
Assist with limited legal matters as they relate to finance and accounting.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A professional finance qualification is a strong plus.
Extensive experience as a Finance Manager within the retail sector is a mandatory requirement.
Proven track record in a similar role with a strong understanding of retail financial budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
In-depth knowledge of local tax and statutory audit regulations.
Excellent analytical and strategic planning skills.
