about the job
As the General Manager, you will be the heart of the hotel, responsible for all aspects of our operations. Your key responsibilities will include:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the hotel's annual business plan, marketing strategies, and long-term goals in line with the brand's vision and financial targets.
Operational Excellence: Oversee all hotel departments, including Rooms, Food & Beverage, Sales & Marketing, Finance, and Human Resources, to ensure seamless day-to-day operations and adherence to the highest international standards.
Financial Management: Drive revenue, manage the P&L, and oversee budgeting, forecasting, and capital expenditure. You'll be tasked with maximizing profitability while ensuring sustainable growth.
Guest Experience & Brand Standards: Champion a culture of exceptional guest service, ensuring every guest experience is memorable and consistent with our luxury brand standards. You will actively engage with guests and handle feedback with professionalism and care.
Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and inspire a large and diverse team. You will be responsible for fostering a positive and high-performance work environment, focusing on talent development, and promoting employee engagement.
Stakeholder & Community Relations: Act as the primary ambassador for the hotel. Build and maintain strong relationships with hotel owners, corporate stakeholders, local community leaders, and key business partners in Kuala Lumpur.
We are looking for a seasoned hospitality professional who embodies our brand's values. The ideal candidate will possess:
Proven Experience in a senior leadership role (e.g., General Manager, Hotel Manager, or EAM)
Leadership Skills: A charismatic and inspiring leader with the ability to build, motivate, and retain high-performing teams.
Financial Acumen: Demonstrated expertise in P&L management, budget creation, revenue generation, and strategic financial planning.
Guest-Centric Mindset: A genuine passion for hospitality and an unwavering commitment to delivering flawless guest service.
