Location: Johor Bahru, Malaysia
Key Responsibilities
... Financial Integrity & Reporting: Manage the General Ledger for Singapore and Malaysia entities. Ensure the timely and accurate completion of monthly P&L statements, balance sheets, and financial statements in compliance with IFRS and local statutory standards.
Audit & Governance: Lead the coordination of statutory audits and collaborate with external service providers for corporate governance activities, including the drafting of resolutions and government surveys.
Tax & Compliance: Oversee Transfer Pricing documentation, Corporate Income Tax, and GST filings to ensure full adherence to local tax laws and regulations.
Operational Accounting: Execute journal entries, manage intercompany invoicing and receipts, and maintain proper Group and Company records.
Business Partnering: Provide analytical support for business needs, execute ad-hoc projects, and assist various departments with accounting queries to support strategic decision-making.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar GL or Full Set role, preferably within the FMCG industry or an Audit firm.
Technical Skills: High proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel is mandatory. Strong knowledge of Local GAAP is required.
