Golf Department
... - Manage and administer efficiently and effectively all day-to-day operations of the Golf Department, including golf registration and tournaments.
- Develop and propose ideas and concepts for the planning and promotion of golfing rates and special offers.
- Ensure all golf buggies are maintained in clean and efficient working condition.
- Oversee and manage all golf course employees, including hiring, conducting performance reviews, disciplining, team building, and coaching for personal growth.
- Maintain courteous relationships with golfers and respond tactfully and efficiently to all complaints, concerns, and problems that may arise.
- Ensure the smooth execution of all golf tournaments from start to finish.
- Administer and enforce the official rules and regulations related to golf.
- Contribute directly to the achievement of the club's financial goals, specifically focusing on increasing year-on-year revenue and overall profitability.
- Control departmental expenses, particularly staff overtime.
- Ensure staff perform their routine duties and strictly follow all established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Driving Range Department
- Manage and administer efficiently and effectively all aspects of the daily operation of the Driving Range Department.
- Oversee and direct all departmental employees, including hiring, conducting performance reviews, disciplining staff, team building, and coaching employees' professional development.
- Ensure the consistently high cleanliness and maintenance of the Driving Range, including range mats and all practice bays.
- Monitor and maintain a sufficient, constant supply of driving range balls to meet golfer practice demands.
- Control and monitor departmental expenses, particularly staff overtime.
- Ensure staff diligently execute their routine duties and strictly follow all established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Recreation Department
- Manage and administer efficiently and effectively all aspects of the daily operation of the Recreation Department.
- Oversee and direct all departmental employees, including hiring, conducting performance reviews, disciplining staff, team building, and coaching employees' professional development.
- Ensure all recreational facilities are well maintained and that cleanliness standards are strictly upheld across the swimming pool, outdoor Jacuzzi, tennis court, gym room, changing room, sauna, and poolside area.
- Develop new ideas, concepts, and promotional plans for recreation activities to proactively increase departmental revenue.
- Control and monitor departmental expenses, particularly staff overtime.
- Ensure staff diligently execute their routine duties and strictly follow all established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
skills and experience required
- Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Management, Hospitality, Sports/Leisure Management or a related field.
- 8–10 years of management experience within the golf, hospitality, leisure or recreation industry.
- Must know how to play golf
- Skilled at engaging with members and clients on the golf course
