Key Responsibilities
- Process Development: Formulate technical solutions and execute Design of Experiments (DOE) to establish robust process windows.
- Yield Optimization: Continuously improve molding parameters to enhance product yield and equipment efficiency.
- Mold & Equipment Management: Lead trial moldings, acceptance, and optimization of new molds.
- Maintenance Oversight: Supervise periodic maintenance plans for injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment to ensure stable production.
- Technical Documentation: Develop and maintain process technical documents while providing training to production teams.
- Validation: Execute complete process validations, including IQ, OQ, and PQ protocols.
- Problem Solving: Analyze and resolve complex molding defects and quality issues during production.
Requirements:
- Education: Associate degree or higher in Polymer Materials, Mechanical Engineering, or Mold Design.
- Experience: Ideally 5 years in injection molding and mold engineering.
- Industry Background: At least 3 years of experience in the medical device industry is preferred, specifically with implantable devices or high-value consumables.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in the operation, debugging, and maintenance of injection molding machines.
- Software: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, UG) for viewing drawings and making minor modifications.
- Material Knowledge: Deep understanding of medical-grade polymer materials and their processing characteristics.
- Environment: Experience working in a cleanroom environment is highly preferred.
- Communication: Strong cross-cultural communication skills with fluency in English. Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
