Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels for raw and packaging materials at an optimum level to eliminate write-off costs related to material obsolescence.
Production Planning: Coordinate with Production, PPC, and Warehouse teams to translate production and sales forecasts into actionable inventory plans.
Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to forecast demand, monitor performance metrics, and identify areas for system and process improvement.
Reporting: Prepare monthly management review reports, including KPIs like cost variance, delivery performance, and supplier reliability.
Supplier Coordination: Support demand planning by monitoring supplier lead times and capacity to ensure a timely supply of materials.
skills & experience required
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in production planning or inventory management within a manufacturing environment.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, BAAN, or Oracle) and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
