key responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy scalable, high-performance microservices using Java and the Spring Boot framework.
Collaborate with product managers, front-end developers, and QA engineers to deliver robust and user-centric features.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
Take ownership of the full development lifecycle, from initial design and prototyping to deployment and production support.
Operate effectively within a UNIX/Linux development and deployment environment.
Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to improve code quality.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the team's continuous improvement.

required qualifications

A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software development with a strong focus on Java.
Deep, hands-on experience with the Spring Boot framework and building RESTful APIs.
Solid understanding of microservices architecture, patterns, and principles.
Proficiency in working on UNIX/Linux operating systems, including shell scripting and command-line tools.
Strong experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.

preferred skills

Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, EKS, Lambda).
Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Knowledge of messaging queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
