System Design: Lead the full design cycle of Solar PV and BESS systems using AutoCAD and PVsyst.
Technical Integration: Coordinate the seamless integration of inverters, BESS, transformers, distribution panels, and protection systems.
Documentation & SLDs: Generate detailed electrical schematics, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), cable routing plans, and interconnection drawings that meet local standards.
Permitting & Approvals: Prepare comprehensive drawing packages and application forms for submission to utility companies and regulatory bodies.
Engineering Analysis: Perform load calculations, voltage drop analyses, protection checks, and system simulations.
Site & Commissioning Support: Conduct site inspections to ensure infrastructure aligns with designs and collaborate with authorities during testing and commissioning.
Tender Support: Assist in preparing technical materials and documentation for tender submissions.
skills/requirements
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of hands-on experience in Large Scale Solar (LSS) design.
Software Skills: Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and PVsyst. Familiarity with PVcase is a significant advantage.
Certifications: GCPV Design accreditation is highly preferred.
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and Balance of Plant (BOP) components.
Communication: Excellent coordination skills to work effectively with internal cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
