Maintenance Manager | Global Fragrance & Aromatics Leader Are you a hands-on engineering leader with a passion for technical excellence and sustainability?

We are representing a renowned global player in the fragrance industry that is currently expanding its sophisticated manufacturing footprint in Malaysia.

This is a pivotal role designed for a proactive Maintenance Manager to ensure the seamless operation and continuous improvement of a world-class production facility.

The Role

You will lead the Engineering and Maintenance department, reporting directly to the Operation Manager. Your mission is to maximize production efficiency while championing safety and green energy initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Oversight: Manage the inspection, repair, and maintenance of factory machinery, HVAC/ACMV, electrical systems, and compressed air systems.
Preventive Excellence: Establish and continuously evolve the Preventive Maintenance (PM) program to minimize downtime.
Regulatory Compliance: Act as the key point of contact for local authorities including DOSH, DOE, ST, and BOMBA.
Sustainability Leadership: Spearhead engineering projects such as Solar PV systems, water recycling initiatives, and energy reduction studies.
Environmental Management: Oversee the Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) and Scheduled Waste management.

Who We Are Looking For

Education: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, with strong exposure to factory utilities.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and the ability to read complex schematic diagrams.
Communication: Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
