Reporting directly to the Design Manager, you will be a key player in the full mechanical design lifecycle. This isn’t just a desk job, you’ll be involved in everything from initial concept generation to testing the final machine performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptual & Detailed Design: Generate high-quality conceptual designs and detailed technical drawings for complex machinery.

• System Integration: Perform hands-on hardware integration of various subsystems onto the machines.

• Testing & Evaluation: Rigorously evaluate machine performance to ensure it meets technical specifications.

• Project Lifecycle Management: Oversee projects from conception to delivery, ensuring they remain on schedule and within budget.

• Technical Documentation: Maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOM), update revisions, and author comprehensive machine manuals and spare parts lists.

• Supply Chain Liaison: Follow up on fabricated and standard parts, and liaise with suppliers for specialized or urgent requests.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with software developers, electrical engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless integration and successful project outcomes.
  
  

• Education: A Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience: Ideally 3+ years of experience specifically within automation design.

• Software Proficiency: Strong skills in SolidWorks for mechanical design and documentation are highly preferred.

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.

• Adaptability: The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while managing multiple time-sensitive priorities.
