We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Process Improvement Specialist to join our finance SSC operations team. This role is critical in documenting end-to-end finance processes and developing SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) to drive consistency, accuracy, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in mapping business processes, drafting SOPs, and applying low-code / no-code tools to automate routine tasks such as report generation, reconciliation, and data extraction.
... Key Responsibilities:Process Documentation & SOP Development
- Collaborate with Finance, Operations, to understand current finance processes (e.g., AP, AR, inventory costing, sales reconciliation, petty cash, reporting).
- Translate workflows and processes into clear, standardized SOPs and process maps (using tools like Visio, Lucidchart, or similar).
Automation & Reporting
- Design and deploy mini automations using no-code / low-code platforms or macro
- Build macros, scripts, or automation tools to streamline repetitive tasks such as:
- Sales and bank reconciliation reporting.
- Data extraction from POS, ERP, or third-party platforms.
- Month-end report generation and consolidation.
- Maintain documentation of all automation scripts/tools with proper version control and user guidance.
Requirements:Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, IT, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in process improvement, finance operations, or business analysis—preferably in F&B or retail industries.
- Proven experience writing SOPs and process documentation.
- Hands-on experience with no-code / low-code tools and Excel macros.
- Familiarity with finance systems, POS systems, and reconciliation processes.
