- Conduct regular market analysis to stay ahead of commodity price trends, supply risks, and shifts in consumer demand, supporting both cost control and product development.
- Monitor procurement and supply chain KPIs, identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies, and implement data-driven improvement plans.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal policies, industry regulations, and food safety standards.
- Support cost modelling and costing analysis related to new and existing products, providing insights for budgeting and pricing strategies.
- Play an active role in supplier audits, risk assessments, and sustainability initiatives within the supply chain.
skills and experience required
- At least 5 years of experience in supply chain or procurement, preferably within the food manufacturing industry.
- Solid track record in sourcing and managing commodity food ingredients.
- Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills, with experience handling a diverse supplier base.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a continuous improvement mindset.
