- Lead and manage a team of procurement professionals, providing strategic direction, coaching, and performance management
- Drive end-to-end procurement processes: from sourcing, contract negotiation, and vendor management to cost control and process improvement
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet project timelines, quality standards, and cost targets
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders (engineering, production, finance, etc.) to align procurement strategies with business needs
- Identify and qualify new suppliers to ensure the best value in terms of cost, quality, and reliability
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure continuous improvement initiatives are in place
about the manager/team
You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, and Quality, while leading a team of Procurement and Vendor Development professionals. This role reports directly to the CEO.
skills and experience required
- Proven experience (8+ years) in procurement within the automotive or manufacturing sector
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Solid track record in vendor negotiations and cost-saving initiatives
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strategic mindset with hands-on experience in procurement systems and best practices
