Randstad is partnering with a fast-growing lifestyle brand that is known for its modern, design-forward approach across fashion, home & livings categories. As they continue to expand their presence and product offerings, they are looking for a Product Development Manager to lead and drive the development of new and existing product lines.
About the Role: This is a hands-on and strategic role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You’ll be responsible for the full product development cycle — from concept through production — working closely with design, merchandising, and suppliers to deliver thoughtful, high-quality products that align with the brand’s vision.
You will need to:
- Manage the product development lifecycle from concept to final production, ensuring products meet quality, cost, and timeline objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, sourcing, engineering, marketing, and sales to align on product specifications, pricing, and go-to-market plans.
- Create and manage product development calendars, tracking milestones and communicating timelines to stakeholders.
- Oversee prototype development and sample reviews, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.
- Identify and source materials, components, and suppliers as needed for product execution.
- Maintain accurate product documentation including product specifications, product catalogues and PowerPoint presentations for biannual Seasonal Buying Conferences, etc.
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to inform product features, positioning, and pricing strategies.
Requirements:
- 5-8 years’ experience in product development or related roles (preferably in fashion or home & livings’ products)
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials sourcing, and cost engineering.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales and performance data, identifying opportunities for product improvement.
- Travel both locally & internationally is required
