About the Role
As the Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving the growth and success of assigned product lines. You will develop and execute marketing strategies, foster strong relationships with principals and partners, and ensure optimal product distribution across channels. This role requires strategic thinking, market analysis, and a results-driven approach to meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans for assigned products, aligning with business objectives.
Recommend and implement effective sales, advertising, and promotional strategies to drive product visibility and growth.
Identify and optimize distribution channels for assigned product lines to ensure market penetration and brand presence.
Gather market intelligence through regular visits and analyze consumer behavior to stay ahead of trends.
Monitor brand performance, in-market sales data, and brand health metrics, proposing corrective measures when needed.
Maintain awareness of competitor activities and market dynamics to inform strategic decisions.
Build strong relationships with principals and customers, enhancing the brand's market position and reputation.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in product management within the FMCG industry.
Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Strong presentation skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Solid understanding of marketing principles and brand management.
