Position Overview
As the Regional Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the financial operations and strategic expansion of our high-growth data centre and tech solutions business across the region. This role is designed for a high-performing finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment. You will bridge the gap between technical accounting and commercial strategy, providing the VP Finance with the data-driven insights necessary to optimize regional performance and capital allocation.
Key Responsibilities
Regional Financial Management & Controlling
Oversee the end-to-end financial reporting and month-end closing processes for multiple regional entities.
Ensure all regional financial statements comply with IFRS and local statutory requirements.
Manage regional tax compliance, including Transfer Pricing, Withholding Tax (WHT) optimization, and leveraging Double Taxation Avoidance Agreements (DTAA)
Coordinate with internal and external auditors across different jurisdictions to ensure seamless statutory audits.
Commercial Business Partnering & FP&A
Lead the regional annual budgeting and monthly rolling forecast cycles.
Provide commercial business partnering to regional leads, offering insights into project profitability, margin optimization, and cost-to-complete (CTC) analysis.
Develop sophisticated financial models to evaluate new data centre investments, greenfield setups, and tech solution pricing strategies.
Analyze regional P&L drivers and provide variance analysis to support the VP Finance in strategic decision-making.
Treasury & Risk Management
Monitor regional cash flow and liquidity, ensuring sufficient funding for capital-intensive data centre projects.
Manage multi-currency FX exposure and implement hedging strategies to mitigate currency risks across regional operations.
Strengthen the group governance framework by refining SOPs and internal control environments.
Key Requirements
Professional Qualifications: A Degree in Finance or Accounting and a professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or MIA).
Experience: 5 – 8 years of progressive finance experience.
Big 4 Foundation: Mandatory early career experience in a Big 4 Audit Firm (PwC, EY, KPMG, or Deloitte).
Commercial Acumen: Proven track record in a commercial finance or FP&A role within a MNC or tech-related environment.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (financial modeling and Power Query).
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with C-suite stakeholders and regional teams.
