About the Job
- Leading daily physical site inspections and managing the HIRARC process to proactively eliminate dangers and ensure the correct use of PPE.
- Strict adherence to all national OSH legislation and maintaining detailed, accurate records of all safety procedures, inspections, training, and incident reports.
- Conducts mandatory safety induction and daily Toolbox Talks, actively promoting a positive safety culture and coordinating safety efforts among all site personnel.
- Leading the comprehensive investigation of all accidents, incidents, and near-misses to identify root causes and implement necessary corrective actions.
- Develops, implements, and tests site-specific emergency response plans (e.g., evacuation, rescue drills) to ensure the site is prepared for potential crises.
What you need to succeed
- Possesses at least a diploma in occupational health & safety
- At least 6-8 years of experience in health & safety in construction
- Green book holder
- Prior experience with bridge / cable construction projects
