About the Job
As a Sales Engineer (Penang), you will play a strategic role in managing and expanding the customer base for industrial solutions in the Northern region. The role requires a consultative approach, combining technical product knowledge with strong relationship-building skills to meet customer requirements and drive sales growth across multiple industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage existing customer accounts while growing new business pipelines
- Identify new business opportunities and schedule regular client visits
- Respond to sales leads promptly and provide sound product consultation
- Present technical solutions and product demonstrations to customers
- Support marketing campaigns and lead generation activities
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop tailored solutions
- Represent the company at trade events, seminars, and industry conferences
Skills & Experience Required
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, or related field)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in technical sales or industrial B2B roles
- Basic understanding of instrumentation (e.g., sensors, transmitters)
- Familiarity with industrial equipment and manufacturing processes
- Experience in manufacturing industry environments (preferred)
