About the Role
We’re seeking a Project Specifier & Sales Manager. This role combines both technical specification and sales responsibilities, ideal for a seasoned professional who enjoys influencing project designs and securing commercial wins.
Key Responsibilities
- Specification Duties:
- Engage with architects, consultants, developers, and engineers to introduce and promote product solutions
- Influence specifications by reviewing tender drawings, project documents, and compliance requirements
- Manage technical submittals, product presentations, mock-ups, and CPD trainings
- Stay informed on project trends, construction codes, and competitor products
- Sales & Business Development:
- Drive new project opportunities and ensure conversion from specification to awarded sales
- Collaborate with QS and contractors to secure and defend product placement in tenders
- Manage pricing strategies, quotations, project pipelines, and monthly forecasts
- Liaise with internal teams (technical, logistics, marketing) to ensure successful project execution
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in technical sales or specification within the building materials industry
- Strong understanding of construction project lifecycles and procurement processes
- Ability to interpret architectural and construction drawings
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-driven, independent, and capable of handling complex projects
- Candidates from building materials background strongly preferred
