about the manager/team
This is a Business Process Owner role within the Tax function under SAP FICO and probably cross functionals on SAP SD & SAP MM. You are required to have a strong Finance business process (specifically within Tax) & SAP FICO functional configuration experience. Those SAP FICO consultant who is interested in doing more on Business Process - continuous enhancement, architecturing, design, master list, global standardisation etc would be ideal for this role. SAP FICO Business Users / Finance Operation who involved in FICO implementation but less on IT will not be ideal for this role. You will work together with other BPOs, Finance Manager / other Key Business Users, functional & technical consultants (internal & vendor), Project Manager, Solution Architect and others in a day to day support / project within SAP FICO.

about the job
- To participate in design processes, data organisation and the analysis of the pros and cons of each alternative solution based in new tax regulation.
- To identify potential cross company analysis and reporting (on Tax) to leverage the global SAP capabilities.
- To create a Tax Core Module that meet both legal and business requirements by continously identifying & analyse future needs and design organizations, processes and SAP system.
- Work closely with other BPOs to design the best updated integrated tax flows align with business needs and current technologies.
- To create and record detailed FICO tax flows in an end to end perspective.
- To execute necessary tax testing (build test plan) to validate functional efficiency of the new customised tax processes (new process, upgrade, roll out etc).
- To create procedures for periodic integrity verification for tax processes (integrated with SD/MM).
- To conduct Gap Analysis workshops, ensure the designed solution align with current tax regulations.
- To sustain and improve New declarations (JPK, SAF-T, e-invoicing, e-reporting, Intrastat, Pillar 2 etc), VAT Algorithms, tax process documentation (work instructions), WW organizational master data (VAT code etc) & others.
- To establish Major Evolution Request, follow the progress, test and approve release in production system.
about requirements:
- Someone who has at least 5 years of experience in SAP FICO within implementation project and/or support (L3) is an added but not compulsory.
- Someone with at least 1 full cycle end-to-end implementation projects on a regional or global basis is an added but not compulsary.
- This role will require strong SAP FICO consultant who wants to migrate to Business Process Owner role within SAP FICO / SAC.
- Those with exposure on either one of these ; SAP FICO Tax Submodules / tax compliance / VAT is added advantage but not compulsary.
- Those with exposure in creating and maintaining global template is an added advantage but not compulsary
- Those with integration exposure of either ; SAP MM / SAP SD / is an added advantage but not compulsary
