We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join the Southeast Asia finance team of a world-renowned, prestigious luxury watchmaker. As the organization continues to grow its presence in the luxury retail space, we are looking for a finance professional to maintain the highest standards of financial accuracy and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end accounting functions, ensuring full compliance with both global accounting guidelines and local GAAP. Your core duties will include:
Financial Operations & Reporting: Handle full sets of accounts using SAP, including AP processing, payment management via banking platforms, withholding tax filings, and AR/retail sales reconciliation.
Asset & Inventory Management: Oversee fixed asset management, including asset tagging and tracking. Lead annual inventory counts for boutiques and warehouses in collaboration with Sales Operations and external auditors.
Tax & Compliance: Liaise with tax agents and external auditors to ensure timely completion of regulatory reporting, including GST and corporate tax filings.
Monthly Financials: Prepare monthly balance sheet schedules, validate staff claims, and ensure precise invoice coding.
Cross-Functional Support: Provide support for ad-hoc projects as assigned by management.
Your Profile
We are looking for a proactive finance expert who thrives in a fast-paced luxury environment:
Industry Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant retail experience in luxury brands, high-end fashion, jewellery, or watch retailing.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel. Experience in handling full sets of accounts and monthly financial reporting is essential.
Market Exposure: Experience working with financial operations in Singapore and Taiwan markets is highly preferred.
Communication: Exceptional command of communication to effectively engage with cross-border teams.
Operational Excellence: Strong knowledge of fixed asset management and asset tracking, combined with a detail-oriented approach to meeting tight deadlines.
