Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Senior Accounts Executive to join our finance team in the metal fabrication industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the full accounting cycle, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and supporting key reporting functions. This role is essential for ensuring timely and successful month-end and year-end closing and requires a proactive approach to managing all financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Closing:
Prepare comprehensive financial management accounts, including statutory accounts and internal and external reports.
Coordinate with all relevant departments to ensure a seamless and successful month-end and year-end closing process.
Lead the preparation and analysis of documents for external auditors and address their inquiries promptly.
Full-Cycle Accounting:
Manage the full accounting cycle for Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and company assets.
Oversee customer and vendor accounts, review all collections and aging reports, and ensure timely reconciliation.
Maintain and manage the company's fixed assets register.
Operational Oversight & Compliance:
Ensure all financial transactions are meticulously recorded and reviewed for accuracy.
Take responsibility for any other related tasks as directed by the superior to support the finance department's objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: A Diploma or Degree in Accounting, or a professional accounting qualification.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role. Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment is a plus.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications and accounting software systems.
Familiarity with ERP systems is an added advantage.
