They are currently seeking a driven and experienced Marketing Manager to lead brand growth strategies and manage cross-functional marketing initiatives within a key product category.
About the Role
This role is responsible for leading and driving the brand marketing operations of a major product category. The Marketing Manager will play a strategic role in developing marketing and brand strategies, supporting innovation initiatives, and ensuring seamless alignment with trade marketing activities. You will lead a team and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure brand growth and execution excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement marketing and brand strategies aligned with company objectives.
Lead brand planning activities including annual marketing plans, 360° communications, media, sampling, and promotions.
Partner with Trade Marketing to ensure strong execution across channels and customers.
Oversee analysis of consumer, category, and market trends to shape strategic direction.
Drive insight-led marketing and contribute to innovation pipeline planning.
Manage relationships with creative, media, P.R, and event agencies.
Oversee brand budgets and ensure cost-effective investment of marketing spend.
Lead and coach a team to drive high performance, collaboration, and capability growth.
Represent the brand in cross-functional planning meetings, commercial reviews, and agency evaluations.
Requirements
Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline.
10+ years of experience in brand marketing within the FMCG industry, including 5+ years in a leadership capacity.
Strong knowledge of the Malaysian consumer landscape, shopper behaviour, and trade environment.
Proven ability to translate insights into strategy and drive execution across teams.
Experienced in managing brand performance, marketing budgets, and innovation projects.
Effective communicator with strong leadership, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
Experience working with external agencies and leading cross-functional initiatives.
