1. Assist the superior in the preparation and management of cost estimations and tender exercises for current and upcoming projects.
2. Conduct thorough cost comparisons and analyses to ensure accurate pricing and informed decision-making.
3. Liaise and negotiate effectively with main contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers to secure favourable terms and pricing.
4. Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure competitive and cost-effective sourcing.
5. Accurately measure quantities and perform take-offs to support cost estimation and project planning.
6. Prepare and manage progress claims, ensuring they align with contractual agreements and project milestones.
7. Evaluate and prepare sub-contractor payments, ensuring timely and accurate financial management.
8. Attend site meetings regularly, providing support in addressing site issues and assisting in the preparation of letters, reports, and correspondence.
9. Review and assess contract documents, project scopes, and changes to ensure cost control and project performance.
10. Assist in the preparation of final account settlements and ensure the proper documentation of all project costs and variations.
11. Undertake and performs related duties and special events as assigned.

about the manager/team

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of working experience, preferably in property development and construction.
• Experience in evaluating subcontractor quotations and preparing progress claims.
• Experience in measuring quantities, performing take-offs and preparing bills of quantities (BQ).
• Must have experience in both high-rise and landed residential projects.
