The Roles
DevOps Engineer: Focuses on implementing CI/CD, automating deployments, and maintaining AWS infrastructure in a regulated environment.
DevOps Team Lead: A hands-on leadership role owning the full infrastructure lifecycle, architecture, security hardening, and cost optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure: Design and manage AWS services (EC2, ECS, RDS, VPC, Lambda) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
Automation/CI/CD: Build pipelines via Bitbucket Pipelines and script operations using Bash, Python, or Node.js.
Containers: Orchestrate environments using Docker, ECS, Portainer, and Coolify.
AI Integration: Use AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) as a core part of the development workflow.
Security & Reliability: Manage IAM, encryption, backups, and monitoring via CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana.
Systems/DB: Administer Linux/Windows servers and optimize RDS performance.
Requirements
Experience: 3+ years for Engineer; 8+ years for Team Lead.
Technical Core: Deep expertise in AWS, Infrastructure as Code, and Containerization.
AI Proficiency: Essential mastery of AI-assisted development tools.
Communication: Professional-level English skills.
Preferred: AWS Certifications and experience in Fintech or Blockchain
