- Provide mentorship on project endeavors and clarify assignment criteria.
- Craft and administer assessments that harmonize with learning objectives.
- Offer personalized feedback during consultations to enrich their educational journey.
- Undertake scholarly research, publish findings, and present at prestigious conferences, alongside fulfilling departmental and university commitments.
skills & experience required
- Possess a relevant PhD from a recognized institution.
- Must be registered with a professional body, preferably the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).
- Professional qualifications such as PEng, IPEA, or APEC Engineer are highly desirable.
- Industry experience is preferred.
- Proficient in civil infrastructure works and familiar with structural/BIM software.
- Prior teaching experience in higher education within a related discipline is required.
- Experience in building collaborations between academia and industry is an added advantage.
- Demonstrated record of strong research output with significant impact.
