Lead the end-to-end design and engineering of M&E systems for data centers and other critical facilities.
For Mechanical: Focus on HVAC, cooling systems, thermal load calculations, and airflow simulations.
For Electrical: Focus on power distribution, UPS systems, generator plants, short circuit analysis, and single-line diagrams (SLDs).
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, guiding them through design processes and project execution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, project managers, and clients, to deliver integrated and seamless solutions.
Review and approve technical drawings, schematics, and design documents to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to best practices.
Support construction, testing, and commissioning activities, troubleshooting issues to verify system performance.
Stay updated with the latest industry codes and standards (e.g., ASHRAE, Uptime Institute, IEEE).
skills/requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
5+ years of experience in M&E design, preferably in data centers or critical infrastructure.
Mechanical Expertise: Strong knowledge of cooling system design, CFD analysis, and thermal management.
Electrical Expertise: Strong knowledge of power distribution design, fault analysis, and power quality management.
Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, CFD tools, ETAP, SKM).
Proven experience in project management and team leadership.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with experience in client-facing roles.
