Full Project Lifecycle Management: Defining, coordinating, and executing multiple projects, ensuring they align with the company's overall goals and schedules.
Financial Oversight: Budgeting & Cost Control, which involves overseeing financial forecasts, monitoring expenditures, approving variation orders (VOs), and implementing measures to meet financial targets.
Contractual & Procurement Management: Review and approve contracts and tender documents, and provide high-level supervision over Quantity Surveying (QS) functions, managing contractual risks, and evaluating claims.
Construction & Quality Assurance: Managing site progress, ensuring timely delivery, and upholding quality, safety, and regulatory standards. You are the main point for resolving technical issues on-site.
Stakeholder & Communication Hub: Primary liaison, communicating effectively with a wide array of external parties (consultants, authorities) and providing strategic updates and recommendations to top management.
Team Leadership: Leading a multidisciplinary team (engineers, QS, site staff) and mentoring junior staff to cultivate a high-performance culture.
skills or qualifications needed
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 8 years in property development and construction.
Lifecycle Knowledge: Solid understanding of the full property development lifecycle (planning, design, construction, and handover).
Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of authority submission procedures and compliance requirements.
Project Scope: Must have experience in both high-rise and landed residential projects.
Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Project, Excel, AutoCAD, and relevant project management tools/software.
Leadership: Strong leadership and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
Work Style: High attention to detail, proactive decision-making, resilience under pressure, and ability to handle multiple projects and tight deadlines independently.
